A Little bit about me.....
Hi friends,
Aghh it is so daunting writing about yourself, but here goes, my name is Jade Cvetkov.
I am a photographer from the beautiful Wairarapa region.
I am a fur baby mum to a Mainecoon named Ermie Bink McPaw or (Coonie for short) & and a chonky black moggy named Toothy.
I have been taking photographs as long as I can remember, and being into art & being creative has helped develop my eye and how I photograph subjects, I earned a diploma in Visual Arts around 2004, this was the start and my first taste of "real" photography and it was dark room and film back then!
I picked up the camera at around 12 to snap the everyday thing around me, But I have been working professionally for the last 15 years.
Since 2015 I have been working with the Wairarapa Times Age newspaper so I have developed a documentarian style to my work, i love showing the candid side of people rather than stiff posed shots, natural is always better in my opinion.
The first genre i gravitated to, was sport photography, but as I grew more confident with my camera's I fell in love with portraits and anything artistic I could do, but I still love sports action & candid shots the most.
So we don't want our whole wedding album or event consisting of posed photos so I love capturing all those candid moments as they happen naturally.
I know a lot of people feel daunted at the thought of a camera in their face all through their event, but I like to work in the background, capturing those real moments and emotions but I am also firm and have learnt to direct everyone when needed.
From weddings, engagement shoots and family sittings right through to the muddiest sports I am there and loving it!
The thing I love the most about photography is the moments captured in time and memories preserved forever!
